I’ve had some eye opening experiences over the past few days and I’ve spent some solitary time reflecting on those experiences. If a friend isn’t going to make me (and my feelings) a high priority, I won’t give them a high level of importance either. It isn’t fair to me to give my all and get so little back. I deserve far better than I’ve how I’ve been treated lately and now it is time to focus on myself again. I matter. If you can’t make me feel like you value me as a part of your life, I won’t be part of your life.  I realized that I can love from a distance, hope for the best, & move on.

I would take “These people..” & change it to “This person…” & then it would be right. This particular person is absolutely wonderful! I have changed SO much and for the better since I’ve known him. He is truly inspiring.

I do owe someone an apology. It would be so much easier to do that face to face… To do EVERYTHING face to face. I am so terrified of being rejected and although I know this blog is cryptic to anyone reading it, that is how it should be.

I have always been a pretty private person aside from a few online activities and now I am going to start becoming even more private. It is necessary to protect myself and others that I care about. I have slowly but surely been removing friends from social network sites and majorly cutting back on my net presence. I’ve had my fun and it is time to grow up and worry about the more important things in my life.

I need to remember that I am dealing with a situation that is nothing like anything I’ve ever dealt with before. I need to realize that I can’t make stupid mistakes, even small ones… This is too important to me. My future is too important to me, and he is too important to me. I will try my hardest to give him some time… I hope and pray that in the end, he will be able to forgive me and realize that I have his best interests at heart. I am smart, I am strong, and I refuse to let myself do something I’ll seriously regret later.

I am truly sorry for my careless lack of judgment.
